Why did you have to die on me. You left me here, stranded, even after I thought that the worst you could possibly do to me is betray me in some meaningless game. Yet, the inevitable came along.

Your death. You became apart of the stars, the space that engulfed us claiming you as I watched you die before my very eyes. The worst part, is that I wasn’t able to actually stop it. Prevent it, save you— because I knew the moment you stepped foot into that room, you were done for. Because the life didn’t leave your eyes in that very moment. No, it vanished long ago. The will to move on, persist, thrive— it was gone. Every time I looked into your eyes, I was searching for that spark, the passion that you once harbored so dearly; but I couldn’t find it.

You were gone. Though, your death had finally freed you from your restraints, and granted the chance to finally rest.

I know you won’t miss me up there, but just know that I will always love you. Even if I always vowed that I wouldn’t.
