I loved you for what felt like all my life. I won’t forget what it was like listening to music with you, dancing, singing, and going on our silly dates. I’m sorry I had to leave, and I’m sorry you couldn’t change. I had every right to leave you, lying to me the way you did, but I didn’t because I believed in you. You did change, but you changed for the worse, and I should’ve realized that I wasn’t important enough to you for you to save yourself and become better. Instead, you twisted and withered into someone I had never seen before: a liar, a cheater, and a manipulator. You became everything you promised you’d never be, and even then, when I pointed it out, you didn’t have the heart to change. I feel like you left your heart behind in your home country, but that’s just my opinion. The stars will always shine for you, bug. I hope someone will be able to heal you and make you better in ways I couldn’t.
