Even though I wouldn’t survive, parts of me hope I have it all wrong. I hope that you did move on from the hurt I caused and realized it was never you, it was me. I hope you never cry the way you did with me ever again. You told me what your ex had done and begged me to not betray you in those ways and I did worse. I hate myself for it. But I’ve changed and I will never stop trying to show you that.
